Update:
Both of our parents have now passed, and in this extremely difficult time we are now struggled to find the funds to cremate, and pay for the service, etc. for our mother after her company of 14 years fired her while on long term leave because she could no longer perform the job duties.
Although we are not expecting anybody to feel obligated to donate, we appreciate any help that is offered and we appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers more than you will ever know as we face these difficult times ahead of us.
Hello, this is just a request for anything to offer help during this difficult time for my family. Here is the back story and an update.
Back in April 2024 my mother, Joanne, was diagnosed with stage four small cell carcinoma. The cancer has taken most of her lungs, in her spine, and femor. She began chemo and immunotherapy treatments. In November the cancer has spread to her brain which she has completed many radiation treatments for. The only thing left to do is to wait and see how the cancer responses to all of these treatments she has underwent.
Joanne is a great loving mother who has always put her family and loved ones first before herself. In any room she walks in she brings joy and laughter. She would dropped everything to be there whenever my sister and I needed help. She always worked so hard to provide the best the world could offer for my sister and I.
This passed year has been a difficult time for our family. Aside from her diagnosis we lost our step father to his own battles of cancer. With all this being said Mom was terminated from her job of 14 years do to her being out on long term leave. We are asking for help; for the medical bills, travel expenses, treatment, and home care. My mom, sister and I appreciate anything anyone can do and for all the prayers in hopes for peace and strength to fight this invasive cancer.
