Ethan, Connor and Danny O'Dea

Hi, my name is Steven and I’m the Uncle of Ethan, Connor and Danny O'Dea. After losing their father, Robert, suddenly in March 2018, life became even more difficult with their mum, Lauren’s diagnosis of Stage 4 oesophageal cancer in September 2021. Lauren never stopped fighting and took every available treatment - 20 rounds of Chemo, multiple radiation treatments and immunotherapy but the cancer continued to spread and Lauren passed away on Sunday 16th October with her boys and family by her side. Lauren was on a disability pension due to the treatment and was unable to work. I’m raising funds to assist the boys with funeral costs, any outstanding bills and ongoing cost of living in order to give them time to grieve and not have the financial stress. Ethan (20) has a disability and needs daily assistance, Connor (19) also lost his best friend in primary school and needs time to process and heal without the stress of needing to pick up more shifts at work as a casual hospitality worker and Danny (10) is about to move and change schools for the 4th time in 5years.
