Help us start our new beginning

As most of you know, the past couple years has been incredibly challenging for our family and have tested us like none other.

In 2023 right before Christmas, our family life changed drastically, as we ran from our home in the middle of the night, and the next day had to get restraining orders against my dad. The abuse and control had reached out of control levels.

We’ve spent the last year going to court many times, our restraining orders were violated several times, and my dad went to jail for domestic battery and violations of the orders. The courts added a 2 year restraining order for all of us--my dad cannot have contact at all.

We’ve recently decided it was time to get a new start. We all took a trip to the Oregon Coast to see a friend, and we all loved the area. The ocean and the Redwoods were amazing.

We recently got approved for a job up in Oregon and an amazing home in the Redwoods. But financially we could use some help. Mom’s work wants her to start on the 19th, which doesn’t give us much time.

We're asking for help in a couple ways. One, financially. We need financial help. It’s going to cost between $6000 and $7000 for the move. Between deposit and first month's rent and a Uhaul. That’s a lot of money, that we just don’t have at the moment.

Secondly, dad left behind a garage full of stuff. Mostly garbage. We are needing help getting rid of it, so part of the moving costs are also for a dumpster rental--about $350. And if you live close by and can’t help financially, we could use help getting the garage cleared out.
