Foster Champs is a non-profit organization in the Seattle, WA area. On December 19th this organization will throw a Holiday Party for the foster kids/families they serve and we will be there for the first time to give each of those kids a $50 book shopping spree to let them know YES, they are worthy, smart, and valuable. ❤️
Usborne Books & More will match all donations with a 50% matching grant and generously pay for shipping. I am donating my commissions to cover GoFundMe fees and sales taxes. Every cent available will go toward more books.
Books provide entertainment and education, for sure.....but even more than that, books also provide companionship, emotional support, academic help, confidence and a temporary escape. That one book might just be the comfort that child needs during a difficult time in their life.
