Fundraise to buy iftar for 250 families in Egypt

Assalamualaikum dear brothers and sisters,

Peace be upon you.

I hope my message finds you well.

"لَن تَنَالُوا۟ ٱلْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِن شَىْءٍۢ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌۭ"

"You will never achieve righteousness until you donate some of what you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to Allah" Surat Ali'Imran, 92.

As we are approaching the month of Ramadan, I am appealing to you to kindly consider helping our brothers and sisters to have food on their table during this holy month.

With your help last year, we reached out to nearly 180 families and provided them with essentials for Ramadan. This year the challenge is greater, due to the cost of living crisis in Egypt.

This year we are planning to reach out to 250 families to provide them with the box of Ramadan. This box contains essentials, not including meat, chicken or fish because these items are expensive and our vision is to provide families with essentials. The items in the box are: rice, sugar, oil, pasta, salt, tomato paste, fava beans, lentils, kidney beans, dates, coconut, raisins and dried apricot. This box will cost £7.

We are aiming to raise £2000 to feed 250 families.
