You may have already heard, our cousin, Jackie Lodzinski – Uncle Jack & Aunt Dorothy’s daughter, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Due to other health issues, it is unlikely she will be a candidate for chemo or radiation.

Aunt Dorothy, who lives in Virginia with Jane (Eley), wants to see Jackie as soon as possible and also visit with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on her birthday, which is Aug. 8th. While in Wisconsin, not only will Dorothy get to see Jackie, but also her granddaughters Rhiannah, Amy, and Sarah (Jackie’s girls) and her great-grandkids, Sol (Sarah's) and Cam & Sophie (Amy's). Dorothy was also able to inform her sister's children and is hoping to see them as well.

Jane has booked a flight for the two of them to visit with Jackie for a few days on Aug. 7th. The cost of this flight is $2,700, which Jane has put on her credit card but she really cannot afford this.

I am asking all our family to help Jane with these unexpected expenses. If we could each donate $50 or $100, the cost of the flight will be covered very quickly. Any additional funds will be used for hotel and food costs. You may donate on this page (Anonymously if you prefer) and I will transfer the funds to Jane. Venmo, PayPal, & checks also work.

Sarah and I will send this information via email to as many people as possible. Please pass it on to those in your family who are not on social media.
