My name is Enrique Rubio, and I am Mexican.

We arrived in Canada in 2022, fleeing the violence in our home country in search of safety and a better future for our family.

My family is made up of my wife, Elizabeth, and our two children, Emiliano and Ximena.

We lived for three and a half years in the city of Waterloo, where we worked hard to adapt to the country, the culture, and to continue learning the language.

Unfortunately, on December 30, I was detained by immigration authorities and remained in custody for 22 days.

On January 22, I was deported back to my country, leaving me separated from my family.

As a result of this situation, my bank accounts were closed, and I was left without financial resources.

Today, I humbly ask for your support and assistance.

Our only wish is to be together again as a family. Any funds raised will be used to help my wife and children purchase their travel tickets so we can reunite and begin rebuilding our lives.

Mi nombre es Enrique Rubio, soy mexicano.

Llegamos a Canadá en 2022 huyendo de la delincuencia en nuestro país, buscando seguridad y un mejor futuro para nuestra familia.

Mi familia está conformada por mi esposa Elizabeth y nuestros dos hijos, Emiliano y Ximena.

Vivimos durante tres años y medio en la ciudad de Waterloo, donde trabajamos, nos adaptamos al país, a la cultura y continuamos aprendiendo el idioma con mucho esfuerzo y esperanza.

Lamentablemente, el 30 de diciembre fui detenido por inmigración y permanecí 22 días bajo custodia.

El 22 de enero fui deportado a México, quedando separado de mi familia.

Como resultado de esta situación, mis cuentas bancarias fueron canceladas y actualmente me encuentro sin recursos económicos.

Hoy recurro a ustedes con humildad para pedir su apoyo.

Nuestro único deseo es volver a estar juntos como familia. La ayuda recaudada será destinada para que mi esposa y mis hijos puedan comprar sus boletos de viaje y así podamos reencontrarnos y comenzar de nuevo.
