Reopening the Boys and Girls Club
Donation protected
A UNIMPORTANTLY LONG BIKE RIDE, IN SUPPORT OF AN INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT CAUSE.

The idea is simple. The Boys and Girls Club on the Rosebud Reservation fills a key spot in the lives of many kids - or it did until forced to close due to lack of funding. The club provided educational support, character building, mentorship, and recreation for some very amazing and very underserved kids here on the Rosebud.

The doors are currently shut - things cannot stay this way! I am riding my bike 200-plus miles, from Rosebud, SD to Harney Peak in the Black HIlls. Our goal is to raise $3000, because this amount should ensure that we can have a solid block of summer programming (swimming, reading, hiking, gardening, so much more...) for the roughly 75 regular youth the club locations served, plus hopefully a lot more kids.
When I see these kids around my town, their first question is always when their club is reopening. Let's try to get them an answer. I am riding to hopefully raise awareness and inspire action, and I am a donor myself. I hope you seize this opportunity to join me in support of the youth of the Sicangu Lakota nation.
