Support a Young Family Through Baby’s Journey to Health
At Memory Lane Stables, we’re more than just a team — we’re a family. Today, we’re asking for your support to help one of our own.
One of our dedicated employees, a young 21 year old parent, is facing an incredibly challenging time. Their six-week-old daughter Elianna who came into this world fighting from the start weighing only 5 lbs. 4 oz. 16 inches long was born with several medical complications requiring immediate attention and a lifetime of ongoing care. She spent 2 weeks in the NICU and after coming home ended up back in the hospital for 4 more days due to an infection. This precious little girl has already shown incredible strength but will need multiple surgeries, including • Corrective surgery to reposition her anus,
• Surgical treatment for a cleft lip and cleft palate
• An MRI at three months old to evaluate a tethered spinal cord, butterfly vertebrae and missing ribs (10 on one side 8 on the other side) to see if she will need surgery or any other medical treatment.
• Microcia, a congenital deformity of the ear which is sometimes associated with hearing loss (currently she has partial hearing loss)
She has been diagnosed with VACTERL association syndrome and a rare 16p11.2 micro deletion syndrome , conditions that will require careful monitoring and treatment. While her prognosis is positive, the road ahead includes at least 4 surgeries and more specialized care. As time progresses we will know if any other complications arise due to the gene deletion. We will continue to update about her condition.
For this young family, the emotional and financial burden is immense. With two other young children at home (ages 3 ½ and 1 ½), and the parents needing to take time off work to care for their baby during surgeries and recovery, the strain is overwhelming and exhausting mentally, physically and emotionally.
We are reaching out to our community for your help. Your donation — no matter how small — can make a big difference in easing their financial stress, allowing them to focus on what matters most: their children’s health and well-being.
If you’re unable to donate, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts for this beautiful family during this challenging time.
Thank you for being a part of our extended family and for showing this family they are not alone in this journey.
Every dollar and prayer counts or share.
