M-LISADA

My name is Charlotte Covington. On May 11th, I will jump out of a plane 10,000 ft in the air to raise money for the charity M-LISADA.

M-LISADA is a Ugandan charity that transforms the lives of underprivileged children through music, education, and holistic care. It was founded in 1996 by former street children in Kampala. Since then, the organisation has grown into a sanctuary for orphans, refugees, and youth affected by poverty and trauma.

My school, Latymer Upper, has worked with this charity for many years, including a 'Music to the Rescue' program, where children learn musical instruments to help boost their confidence and discipline, often resulting in music careers. In addition to music, M-LISADA provides safe housing, daily meals, and education through its Passion Primary School.

I would be extremely thankful for any donations put forward, and I am sure the children at M-LISADA would be too.
