Please help support Gabriel's family during his heart surgery and recovery journey. On October 16th, 2025 Gabriel underwent a highly complex 8 hour heart surgery where they reconstructed his entire heart. Thankfully, this surgery turned out to be very successful. However, he has been experiencing extremely high chylous chest tube output daily since his surgery. He is loosing anywhere from a liter to a liter and a half of vital fluids daily. This makes him at high risk for getting infections and developing blood clots. Both of these things have actually already happened since our hospital stay. The team here at Cleveland Clinic have been working very hard to try and resolve this issue but have been unsuccessful. Gabriel has been referred to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for an intervention by their specialized doctors to help resolve his chylous effusion. We aren't able to be transferred there until the end of December. Philadelphia is 7 hours away from our home here in Cleveland. Eddie has been out of work since Gabriels surgery and I will have to stop working in a couple weeks to prepare for our journey to Philly. We have no idea how long we will have to be there or how long Gabriels recovery journey will last at the Clinic once we return home. We hate to ask for help but without either of us working we will need help with our mortage, utility bills, travel expenses, food, etc. This would take such a burden off of us so that we can focus all of our time and energy on being present and by Gabriel's side during his recovery journey. We will be forever grateful for any donation and promise to return the kindness and good fortune to others in the future. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
