Fund for Stephen Magruder’s Children
Stephen Magruder, of Washington, D.C. died tragically on Friday, September 11, 2020, leaving behind a loving family including 5 children, 10 biological and 7 stepchildren. He was 49.
Stephen was a great father, brother, son, cousin and friend to many. He was a life-long, proud Washingtonian who grew up in the Shaw neighborhood. He was a talented barber, dog whisperer, football player, and a fitness enthusiast, who loved his Cowboys and ride/take care of his horses. He worshipped at the House of Prayer in D.C. He loved his children and did his best to shield them from the negativity of the street life. He suffered the unbearable loss of one of his son (Apple) in 2017 due to street violence. And tragically, Stephen was killed in his home by his oldest son.
His family is in mourning and we ask the community who knew and loved him (and love us) to consider making a donation to assist the family with his children during this trying time. Any size donation helps. This has been set up by Orlando “Kevin” Magruder (Stephen’s younger brother). The family thanks you in advance all donations and contributions and we ask for you to continue to pray for the family..
With sadness and love,
Stephen's Family
