Hello everyone, I'm one of Jon San's daughters. My dad is a hardworking man, a truck driver, who had a brain stem stroke while he was away on a trip. He's currently hospitalized at the University of Iowa, and our family is in California. His diagnosis is Locked-In Syndrome (LIS), meaning that he can't move his limbs aside from partial eye movement. The initial rehab center that we chose did not accept my dad, so we are trying to transfer him an acute skilled facility to prepare my dad for therapy. We are using the funds for the airfare to transfer him back home.

Edit: My dad has safely made it back home to California! He has been places in a rehab center near home and has been there for a couple weeks now. Thank you so much for your help.
