I am a single mother. I have lost my job and recently got a job with lower income, but it fits perfectly with my son’s school schedule. His father has served me for full custody and for me to pay child support. My son has been in my care since day one. I have hired an attorney with all I had and I don’t have much, but I would greatly appreciate the help. My son is my world. If you know me, you jnow how hard it’s been for me and how hard I fought to be here. Not trying to alienate my son from his dad so I’m not sure what all this is about but it’s scaring me after all I’ve done as a mom and partner. I don’t need much. Anything will go straight to my court fees. And my son needs me. I’m the only one who knows his favorite toy, his favorite show, his favorite word and what makes him calm down from having his tantrum. I am not able to grab loans due to my credit after his father lost his job and I got behind on payments. I have been working on that. I’m not asking for all of the fees because this is my son and my heart wants to fight hard for him. Thank you for reading. No matter what you can or can’t give, being heard is also huge for me.

update: I was able to find representation and she didn’t have my side like I hoped and ended up with joint custody for my two year old one week on and off with dad who lives four hours away, my son is already in therapy from these visits and not having stability. I am now in contact with new lawyer and getting more legal advice. I’m not able to get loans due to my credit as paying lawyers every check as well and making sure my boy is good has put me behind on all my payments.. anything helps, a share, a dollar, a heart. Idc. I’m struggling and I’m not afraid to admit that right now.
