Scafell Pike Hike Fundraiser for Bury Cancer Support Centre

In loving memory of my brother Danny and Husband to Kirsty.

After bravely hiking Snowdon, Danny dreamed of one day reaching the summit of Scafell Pike. But just weeks later after completer Snowdon, he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and heartbreakingly, he never got the chance.

During the most difficult time of his life, Bury Cancer Support Centre became a place of peace, comfort, and kindness for him. The staff were there with open hearts. They supported both Danny and Kirsty throughout Danny’s illness. He absolutely loved it there, it gave him more than words can say. They still provide continuous support to Kirsty and family members to help them thought this hard time.

On the 21st of May 2025, we said goodbye to Danny. Now, in his memory, we will be hiking Scafell Pike on the 29th June 2025 completing the journey he never could. Our goal is to raise £1,000 for the centre that meant so much to him, So they can keep helping others the way they have helped us.

Every step we take will be for him. Every pound raised will help carry forward the compassion and care that carried him through.

Everyone is welcome to join us in honour of Danny. And if you can, please consider donating, your support means the world.

Let’s do this for Danny. ❤️
