About three years ago, my brother and his wife received a phone call. To make a very long story short, Adrienne's baby cousin needed someone to care for him.

Within a matter of hours, this five-month-old baby had joined their family which already included two young girls and a toddler boy. Overnight, they had added a member to their family.

A huge thank you to those of you who have prayed for my brother and Adrienne through the adoption roller coaster of their little guy. It has been fraught with emotional, physical, and mental highs and lows. 

However, the financial side of the journey has also been an incredible challenge. Keith & Adrienne knew that God had planned for this little one to be in their home forever, and when it was required that they fight financially to make sure he remained in the only home he knew, they did everything they could. However, everything they could was nearly $100,000 in legal fees. 

Adrienne has gone back to work and if you know this family, you know they are willing to "go without" the luxury items to live simply. If someone can make a dollar stretch, it is Adrienne. However, this adoption has set them back years, and I'd like to help them gain a little traction as they move forward with four children. Because this was a public adoption, they couldn’t share this need earlier.
