The Vanzile family needs your help! They are a law enforcement family, both Jason and Megan work as officers with the Lake City Police Department.

The Vanzile family helped mine tremendously when I lost my late Husband (Jasper’s Chief of Police) two years ago in the line of duty and I would love to help his in return! Please join me in raising money to help this family who gives everything to their community, no matter what the capacity.

Jason’s mom, Tammy Johnson, was involved in a head-on collision on June 5, 2025 when a man on a suicidal rampage was traveling approximately 100 miles an hour and struck a vehicle that was in front of my mother and then slammed into her vehicle head on. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital in short time later however, their niece who is seven years old was in the vehicle with her and sustained major injuries. She was flown from Ash flat Arkansas to Kansas City, Missouri, where she underwent several surgeries on her back and face. She is going to have several months of physical therapy and all kinds of doctors appointments.

His stepdad Chris Johnson is now taking care of his three grandchildren by himself and is unable to work due to taking care of my niece. He will most likely be out of work six months or more while he gets the family back on his feet. Jason’s mother literally handled everything and he just went to work and brought his check home so he is completely lost.
