My name is Olive. I’m a transgender individual who is raising fund for her upcoming gender affirming surgery. With Donald Trump making funding hard to access as a trans person I’m hoping g to crowd fund what I need.

the majority of the surgery is covered, there is one procedure that my insurance hasn’t covered and that’s part of the funding I’m looking for.

the rest is for medical bills, rent, food, aftercare materials, etc that I need for after the surgery. The recovery time is recommended 4-6 weeks before returning back to work.

My surgery is Scheduled for November 6th in NYC. So with that said now that I’m in LA the first week of the surgery I’ll hopefully be staying in a hotel for comfort. That is also factored into what I’m raising.
