<div>My name is Olive. I’m a transgender individual who is raising fund for her upcoming gender affirming surgery. With Donald Trump making funding hard to access as a trans person I’m hoping g to crowd fund what I need.

<div>the majority of the surgery is covered, there is one procedure that my insurance hasn’t covered and that’s part of the funding I’m looking for.

<div>the rest is for medical bills, rent, food, aftercare materials, etc that I need for after the surgery. The recovery time is recommended 4-6 weeks before returning back to work.

<div>My surgery is Scheduled for November 6th in NYC. So with that said now that I’m in LA the first week of the surgery I’ll hopefully be staying in a hotel for comfort. That is also factored into what I’m raising.
