As many of you know, my best friend, Kristin Oilar, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We thought the cancer was in remission, but unfortunately, it has returned. This next go-around will be just as aggressive as the first time. She will be doing lots of traveling, and there will be lots of medical costs. She will be off work quite a bit as well. Even though she has insurance, there will still be many out-of-pocket expenses. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

Kristin has been a 911 dispatcher for over 20 years. She is very dedicated to her job and hates that she will be taking more time off for the many doctor appointments and procedures, but she knows this is what needs to be done. She loves her guys and gals in the field and always does everything she can to make sure they go home safe to their families at the end of their shifts.

Kristin is married and has 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. She is one of the strongest and bravest people I know. I am so proud of how Kristin is handling this whole situation. It was devastating news to find out “it” has already come back, but she is fighting with everything she has!!
