9-10-11 AZLL Softball State Tournament

The Azalea Little League 9-10-11 year old Softball team has earned a place to compete in the Virginia State Little League Softball Tournament in Abingdon, Virginia. They need your help to get there! The financial need to take these young ladies to the State Tournament is no small goal, with the hope that through donations from supportive families, friends, and sponsorships from community businesses and organizations they will be able to get these young ladies to the tournament. Your support will go directly to the AZLL 9-10-11 year olds Softball Team's transportation, lodging, food and incidentals for the Abingdon trip.

Azalea Little League is a nonprofit organization that has given softball a home since 1974. With a goal to enrich the lives of children and the community through effective leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment, the Little League provides inclusive, enjoyable opportunities for any child and volunteer to participate in a community-based program that is distinctive, unique, and promotes life lessons beyond the field of play. Azalea Little League furnishes physical facilities, volunteer services, and resources to provide a program for children, families, and communities to enjoy the sport of softball in a way that is engaging, exciting, and fun.

Azalea Little League teaches the idea that a positive attitude and giving your best effort increases the chances of success. This sentiment shines through the young ladies of the All Star team. These ladies are "Built Different", through their personal hard work, dedication, teamwork and love of softball they have achieved the District 8 Championship title and place at the State Tournament.
