90th Birthday Celebration for Charlie Gabriel

Hello, my name is Dameon Gabriel, son of August Gabriel Sr., and this GoFundMe is to raise funds for Charlie Gabriel's 90th Birthday Celebration this July! This fundraiser and celebration is for family and close friends only and not open to the general public. I say that because if it is posted publically it is possible that hundreds of people would show up.  Even if you are not attending, we can still use your help; many hands make light work. 

 

The donated funds will go towards park shelter reservations, catering, additional light refreshments, and a couple of gifts for him from all of us. We'd like to get a beautiful custom-made grand marshal sash and personalized Charlie Gabriel doubloons (Spanish coins) and/or custom beads. However, it depends on what we can pull together from everyone. Remember, every dollar helps, so don't think any donation is too small!

If you will not physically be able to celebrate with us in July, you can still be present by sending a short birthday video. The videos will be displayed on a projector screen during the celebration. 

Here are the birthday video instructions:

1) Turn your phone sideways (horizontal).

2) First, state who you are and give a short message or story followed by your birthday wishes.

3) Keep your message under 1 minute.

4) Email your video to [email redacted] with the subject: Charlie Gabriel Birthday Video.
