It was a result of a sudden struggle with breathing and her heart's inability to respond appropriately (we are waiting for final autopsy results to confirm). She wasn't unwell; this event came as a shock to her and to all of us.

In her last moments earlier that Sunday evening, she was joyfully babysitting her 5 grand-babies, showering them with love and affection. The kids were not present when she passed, but they were very much in her heart. That morning, she had watched her daughter, Raynelle, perform a beautiful praise dance at church, a moment of deep pride and happiness for her. And just days before this tragic event, she and I had returned from a few day work trip.

My mother's life was filled with love and connection. She was in constant communication with Brittany, my wife, whether it was through Marco Polo or enjoying a friendly game of Monopoly Go! Her memory lives on through these cherished moments and the love she shared with her family.
