Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you may have heard, beloved father and husband, Clas Lensander, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 23, 2020. The entire family is taken back by this sad and sudden loss and is still trying to process their pain.

Clas was extremely passionate about his nine year old daughter, Emmie. He often referred to Emmie, as his “Happy Heart” and supported her 100% in all her endeavors, but most of all her ice skating competitions. He was indeed a very proud and loving father. Nothing in the world can take away the aching and suffering the family is experiencing. Unfortunately, Clas left us far too soon and the substantial debt that his family has been left with is insurmountable.

There is no life insurance policy, and they are ineligible for social security survivor benefits. 

As the family begins to search for a path to bring some normalcy back to their lives, in lieu of flowers, they are requesting donations be made to their Go Fund Me page. Christina shared with us, “We want to keep Emmie's “Happy Heart” going in Clas’ honor.”

This campaign is dedicated to the benefit and future of Clas’ beloved daughter, Emmie Lensander. Please share whatever you can toward securing a bright future for Emmie. There is no amount too small. All funds raised will go exclusively toward Emmie’s immediate and ongoing needs.

Their little family was very private, and they have chosen to celebrate Clas and say goodbye in their own private way. It has been hard for them to process their loss and pray you understand and will respect their wishes for privacy at this time.
