Hi everyone,

I am Camila Picolli, Brazilian living in Seattle for the last 13 years. I am from Rio Grand do Sul and my home state is currently experiencing a massive flooding.

The scale of devastation is comparable to Hurricane Katrina, which struck New Orleans in 2005. Over 581,648 people have been displaced, and nearly 2.3 million have been affected across 464 municipalities. More than 55,813 individuals are staying in shelters, and at least 1,000 people have been rescued by national authorities during emergency operations.

To support those in need and the volunteers in the front line, me and my friends from the Brazilian community in Seattle are hosting a Charity Bazaar.

When: Sunday, June 2nd

Time: from 1 pm to 6 pm

Where: IMAJ Pilates - 250 Market St, Kirkland
