Dear friends and supporters,

I am reaching out to you during an incredibly challenging time for our beloved friend Alma and her family.

On December 18 her husband, which I will not name for privacy, was detained by ICE in the early morning while driving to an appointment. Her husband is a devoted father, spouse, friend and primary provider of his family. This family is hardworking and have been a vital part to the Salem community. His absence is especially hard for Alma and their two boys who are 11 and 14 because of their strong family love and bond.

We are asking for your support to help cover legal fees and living expenses and to ensure that Alma and her family can continue to live during this difficult time. Every donation is appreciated no matter how small.
