Support Dawn's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Hi everyone. My name is Brooke. I am Dawn’s oldest daughter. I am here to help share her story and ask for your support in her fight. If you have made it this far already, thank you.

Dawn is 49 years old and has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She will have her double mastectomy surgery done on May 7th. For those of you who do not know what that is, they will be removing both breasts and scraping the cancer from her chest bone. This will leave Dawn without work for quite some time, and if you know anything about my mom… that woman is one hard worker. Although my mom will be out of work, the bills will still pile in, and her youngest daughter (age 12) will still need support as well. Soon after Dawn learned she would now become a breast cancer warrior, her mom died very suddenly and unexpectedly. So, everything she had saved up to prepare for this procedure unfortunately went to her mother’s funeral last month. We don’t like to ask for much, but if we could come together and help my mom by relieving some stress and giving her the support she needs, we would all be so incredibly grateful.
