My name is Rami, and for the past several years I’ve been committed to feeding and supporting the homeless community in Moss Park, Toronto.
This mission is deeply personal for me. I’m 14+ years clean and have lived through my own struggles with homelessness and addiction. I know firsthand what it feels like to be hungry, cold, and unsure where help will come from. Because of the people who once helped me, I made a promise that when I got back on my feet, I would give that same hope back to others.
Every winter, when the temperatures drop and survival becomes even harder, we go out to Moss Park and surrounding areas to serve those who need it most. Last year, we were able to feed roughly 200–300 people every time we went out.
This year, our goal is to feed at least 200–300 people every month throughout the winter season.
Your donations will go directly toward purchasing essential items, including:
• Fresh ingredients to cook full hot meals
• Large batches of homemade soup
• Bottled water
• Cookies and snacks
• Hot chocolate and warm beverages
• Toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, wipes, feminine products, deodorant, etc.)
• Warm clothing (socks, gloves, winter hats, scarves)
Every dollar helps—whether it’s covering a tray of food, a case of water, or a warm pair of socks. None of this is possible without community support, and every contribution goes straight into serving people who truly need it.
If you’ve ever wanted to help make someone’s hardest days a little easier, this is your chance.
A hot meal, a warm drink, and a bit of dignity can make all the difference.
Thank you for helping us show love, compassion, and hope to the people of Moss Park this winter.
Your support genuinely changes lives.
— Rami
