Ethiopia’s Rape Victims

My name is Betty Solomon please join me as I say “STOP” and take a stand against sexual violence our young girls and boys are having to suffer from in Ethiopia. 

It is too often we hear of these testimonies from our girls being sexually assaulted in Ethiopia by their fathers and close family members. And recently, we are hearing testimonies of our boys being assaulted as well. This is an emergency and must be handled with such urgency, we admit this is a public health problem. No more turning a blind eye to this devastation. This impacts the lives of the victims to the core. This is horrible, it’s wrong and it must stop now. 

I need your help to fight this. We can no longer sit back and allow this to happen again and again.. I am asking for your financial contribution as you see fit (please see donation section for details). These girls and boys are our future and we need to protect their well-being. All funds raised will go towards any assistance needed to help toward rehabilitating the lives of our young girls and boys of Ethiopia.

የጎዳና ተዳዳሪ ሴት ህፃናት መከላከያ ተሃድሶ እና ማቋቋሚያ ድርጅት organisation prevention rehabilitation and integration female street children (oprifs) ኦፕሪፍስ የተቋቋመው በፈረንጆቹ አቆጣጠር ጥር 2000ዓ.ም ሲሆን ከተቋቋመበት ግዜ አንስቶ ብዙ ጥቃት የደረሰባቸውን እና ለጥቃት ተጋላጭ ሴት ህፃነትን በቤተሰብ ተኮር፣በትምህርት ቤት ተኮር፣ በማህበረሰብ ተኮር እንዲሁም በመጠለያ ተኮር በባህርዳር እና በአዲስ አበባ አገልግሎት በመስጠት ላይ ይገኛል፡፡በተጨማሪም በህገወጥ በስደት ዙሪያ መሀበረሰቡን ግንዛቤ በማስጨበጥ ዙሪያ እና የተለያዩ ስልጠና ለሴት ከስደት ተመላሾች እና በህጋዊ መንገድ ከአገር ለሚወጡ ሴቶች እንዲያገኙ በማድረግ ከሀገር መወጣት ለማይፈልጉ የተወሰነመንቀሳቀሺያ ገንዘቡ በመስጠት እያገለገለ ያለ አገር በቀል የእርዳታ ድርጅት ነው ራዕይ በኢትዮጵያ የህፃናት መብት እና ክብር ሙሉ በሙሉ ተጠብቆ እና ተከብሮ ማየት ተልዕኮ የሴቶችንየልጃገረዶችን እና ለጥቃት ተጋላጭ የሆኑትን ልጆች በተሟላ እርዳታና እንክብካቤ የኑሮ ሁኔታቸው እንዲሻሻል ማድረግ ነዉ
