Hi to all you amazingly incredible people reading this story. My beautiful brother has had a hard time over the last number of years. Our precious sister died at the end of 2021 and we all struggled with that massive loss. My brother was particularly affected. Training he was doing for a new career was affected, his social life was affected, his relationships were affected and his living arrangements were affected. He got a work contract last year and worked very hard putting everything into it but when the contract ended and wasn’t renewed, he struggled. There was a light at the end of the tunnel though, and that was a rent to own apartment he had invested in just before our sisters death. It was nearly ready to move into. My brother had been saving as much money as he could and buying all the little bits and pieces you need for a new home and had everything ready to go last week with a plan to move yesterday. Devastatingly, an electrical fault in the garage where his things were stored started a massive fire and destroyed everything on Saturday night. The fire was so strong it blew the garage door off and into his car parked in front of the garage and his car caught on fire and was destroyed too. He has lost absolutely everything, including some cash he had withdrawn to help with the move, down payments etc. I completely understand these times are so difficult for everyone with the cost of living crisis but if you could spare any money, even just $5, he would be able to purchase a mug or a plastic food container. I would really appreciate any support you can give and thank you so much in advance. I will be forever grateful.
