My dad, a hardworking and selfless man is being deported back to El Salvador. 

My family is being torn apart, as many others are. My mom and my siblings do not work yet and my dad is the pillar of our house. 

They have him detained and we are still unsure of what is happening with his case. We keep trying to contact ICE and have no reply. Despite calling different numbers many many times a day, no response has been given to us other than the fact that they say he has a deportation order. He is sick and suffering, being starved, AND deprived of basic needs like water while in custody. They give him and those with him food that is ready to expire or already expired. The situation in the detention facilities is dire. 

While in this limbo, and with our hearts shattered for my father, we need help with bills, rent and food. We also need to find a way to get him legal representation since the lawyer we had was of no help at all. All they keep asking for is money, money that has already been given to them while they were doing nothing for us. 

We have two dogs, who adore him, and we need to find a way to maintain them too. 

We also need a way to get my dad to safety and get a new start. We want to be able to get him food. We’re hoping they let him go and we want to think ahead and make sure he gets psychological help, since there will definitely be after effects from the time he’s spent detained. 

We want to be able to provide for him, but while we gather our resources, we want him to be okay. We want to be able to perhaps start a business and support him and our family members.

Please, if you’re able, help my dad. Help my family. Every penny makes a difference. Every piece of advice makes a difference.
