My daughter and I are currently going through a difficult housing situation and are trying to secure new housing as quickly as possible.

For a period of time, we've been living out of our moving truck while trying to keep our belongings safe and figure out our next steps. We have now found an opportunity to move into a place, but we need help covering the immediate costs required to secure it.

We are trying to raise $2,500, which will go toward:

• $750 for the security deposit

• $750 for the first month's rent

• $950 to cover the moving truck rental that we relied on during our housing transition.

We are not asking for more than what is necessary. Our goal is simply to secure stable housing and move forward.
