Not that long ago I used to worry about posting more content, good engagement, too much work - silly stuff really. Today I worry about my parents staying alive, fed and warm. Reality changed pretty much overnight.. Ukraine is in the middle of war The kind of war where kids are getting killed, teenage girls are getting raped and maternity hospitals bombed..

Millions of people are leaving behind everything they’ve ever known. My family happened to be among those people. My mom is a year short from turning 70, she had to flee with nothing but a backpack. She doesn’t speak the language, can barely navigate a smartphone and can’t really work. My dad left to a different state in Ukraine, but I’m pretty sure he won’t have a house to come back to, simply because Russian troops moved into his back yard.

My brother with 3 kids are in Cyprus trying to adjust to today’s reality. Ukraine is being wiped out. I stopped watching the news, because I can’t take the anxiety no more.

So while sooo many people’s lives went to shit, I am trying to raise money for my immediate family: for transportation, rent, food, clothes, essentials - for a new life really..
