Harvard Alumni for Global Development (HAGD) is a collaborative network for Harvard alumni who actively work or are interested in exploring emerging markets and developing countries. It connects Harvard alumni across schools, disciplines, and professions to share expertise, research, and ideas that foster global engagement and cross-sector partnerships.
This shared interest group aims to strengthen relationships among alumni to overcome geographical, disciplinary, and professional barriers. Moreover, it recently launched taskforces to tackle complex global, real-world development problems. Its other activities provide diverse opportunities for members, including networking through active dialogue; career development for new, mid-career, and transitioning professionals; educational sessions presented by experts; and partnerships via cross-sector collaborations. The organization disseminates information and updates through a newsletter and a podcast.
By supporting HAGD, you are enabling it to make a significant impact on the Harvard community and, more importantly, the world.
