It has now been six months since Sam’s life- changing car accident and he is making a remarkable recovery, still as an inpatient at the Brain Injury Recovery Unit in Bristol. He is now often smiling, laughing and generally showing good humour. Maggie and Pete continue to travel to Bristol to visit alongside their jobs. They are now looking at ways in which they can adapt their home to support Sam’s recovery and to enable a safe and successful discharge home.

As friends and family of Maggie and Pete we would like to continue to support them in a practical way.

An important step forwards will be modifying the family home, this will involve some considerable building work to make their home safe and suitable for Sam's adapted and changing needs.

The cost of adapting the family home is significant and as friends and family, we would like to express our love for them and our desire to support them and help them move towards the goal of Sam coming home.

Maggie, Pete, Harry and Rachel are so grateful for the support they've received in so many ways.
