Please help my son Michael after a devastating car accident. In what should have been a normal drive home after work on Saturday night, an inconsiderate, selfish drunk driver raced through a downtown stoplight and T-boned Michael as he was going through, which caused his Jeep to flip through the air and land upside down 30 feet away.
Miraculously, Michael came out of it without any life-threatening injuries but has left his whole left hand badly injured, causing one finger to be partially amputated, two other fingers badly broken with separated tendons and muscles, and his hand broken in many places. The surgeon was able to patch him back together the best they could, and he will be in the hospital for a few days recovering. He has a long and painful road of recovery and therapy ahead of him.
He will be out of work for the foreseeable future, and this is what hurts him the most. He is the most dedicated, hard-working 29-year-old that I know. He NEVER misses work for anything, not in over 5 years or more. With mounting bills and living expenses, he just won’t be able to manage alone. His Jeep and only transportation is totaled as well. If you are able to contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to him and our small family. Every donation would lighten the load and let him focus on healing and fully recovering.
