We are launching this gofundme for our older sister Emma.
On May 22nd, the unbelievable happened, our nieces and nephews dad, Stevie, was taken far too soon in a fatal car accident. We are in shock and terribly upset but know we need to be there to support our big sis and her beautiful kids.
Since Emma was a kid, she always wanted to be a teacher. To the point when we would play the "Game of Life" she would make sure she had the teacher profession. She was born to be a teacher and also to be a mom. As we all know, teaching is a severely underpaid profession. She works full time as a first grade teacher and does everything she can do to provide for her three kids, ages 6, 4, and 2. She also works part time at Live Nation to help make ends meet.
Losing Stevie is not only a horrible emotional toll on her and her babies, but also a toll financially. We are launching this gofundme to help support her and their kids in the following ways:
- Childcare and school expenses
- Daily living costs (groceries, bills)
- Counseling and emotional support for the kids
- Any unexpected needs in the coming months
We want Emma to be able to focus on what matters most, and not have to stress about bills. What matters most is her being there for her kids as they begin to process and heal from the enormous loss of their dad.
Emma has always shown up for us and her family with strength and love. Now, she could use a community around her. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. And if you can’t give, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to our family.
Thank you for reading and supporting our family during this unimaginable time.
