This year, Allfirst is sponsoring four families in need to help bring joy and comfort during the holiday season. Each family has faced unique challenges, and your contributions can make a big impact.

Meet the Families

Family One

Mitchel County, NC

Who they are: A 12-year-old boy living with his grandmother after losing his mom to COVID-19 in 2020 and his grandpa to cancer just last month.

Their story: This resilient boy is navigating life after great loss, holding on to hope for brighter days ahead.

Family Two

Who they are: A Navy dad, a dedicated mom, and their 11-year old daughter battling cancer.

Their story: Mom had to quit her job to care for their daughter, and frequent trips to a hospital in Pennsylvania have made life even more challenging after a recent car accident.

Family Three

Who they are: A single mom with two young daughters (ages 3 and 5), both diagnosed with mitochondrial disorders.

Their story: The eldest is in palliative care, while the youngest recovers from her third open-heart surgery. Mom recently completed nursing school and is striving to regain stability for her family while balancing medical care and certification exams.

Family Four

Who they are: A family of five- a mom, three young girls (ages 5-7), and a 3-year old boy.

Their story: This hardworking mom is doing all she can to provide for her children during difficult times.
