My name is Osama, a 32-year-old Language student, and a Palestinian refugee residing in Belgium.
I write to you with a heavy heart, urging for your urgent assistance to rescue my dear brother Hamdan and his family from the harrowing conditions they endure in Gaza.

Hamdan, his wife Hanna, their son Khaled, and their two daughters, Ritaj and Nada, are living in constant fear amidst the relentless bombings and chaos of war. The situation has become even more dire as their daughters, Ritaj and Nada, who are both deaf, face immense challenges due to the lack of batteries for their hearing aids and the inability to access maintenance for their earphones.

I ask for your generous support to evacuate Hamdan and his family members from the dangerous conditions they currently living in Gaza and relocate them to safety in Egypt.
Hamdan and Hanna, both devoted parents, are struggling to protect their children from the overwhelming sounds of explosions that surround them. The girls, already burdened with the challenges of being deaf, now live in a state of constant fear, unwilling to endure the silence and terror any longer

Summary of Situation:
- On October 2023, my brother Hamdan's family trapped in a relentless nightmare of bombings, forced out of their homes to UNRWA school in Khanyounis where more than 40 people are living in every single class, with no haven from hunger, dehydration, displacement, illnesses, and relentless bombings.

- Since The beginning of January 2024, The family is forced again to relocate but to another city, to Rafah, where the conditions of living are catastrophic, the family is living in a handmade tent on the beach, now the family suffers from cold weather and winds and still they suffer from very close and dangerous bombardment.
Your Support Matters:
It is imperative that we come together to evacuate Hamdan and his family to a safer environment where they can find peace and security. They deserve to live without constant threat of violence and fear of what tomorrow may bring.
Financial Details:
To cross the Gaza-Egypt borders at "Rafah," it is required to pay permits known as the Crossing List. Coordinators in Egypt have informed us that adding family's names will cost $7-8,000 per person. Your generous contributions will go towards:
$35,000 for the Rafah Crossing permit for all Hamdan’s family members.
$1,000 for travel and transportation fees from Gaza to Egypt.
$5,000 for shelter/house rental in Egypt, resettlement, buying clothes, urgent healthcare and other humanitarian needs for a few months up to 1 year.
