A mediados de marzo de este año, con mucha incertidumbre y muy poco equipaje Bita salió de Zaporiya en autobús con su madre Valentina y sus dos hijas Daryna (entonces 5) y Kira (entonces 1), dejando atrás en su hogar a su marido y su padre, que no podían abandonar el país.

Después de 9 meses acogidas en Madrid, Bita se va a Nueva York a empezar una nueva vida con Daryna (6) y Kira (2). Les ha tocado la green card por lotería y ya tienen su documentación en regla. Valentina, la abuela, se vuelve a Zaporiya con su marido.

Maksym, el marido de Bita, no puede salir todavía de Ucrania, por lo que necesitan mucha ayuda a su llegada, y cualquier granito es más que bienvenido.

In mid-March this year, with a lot of uncertainty and very little luggage, Bita left Zaporiya by bus with her mother Valentina and her two daughters Daryna (then 5) and Kira (then 1), leaving behind her husband and his father, who could not leave the country.

After 9 months in Madrid, Bita goes to New York to start a new life with Daryna (6) and Kira (2). They have won the green card lottery and they already have their documentation in order. Valentina, the grandmother, returns to Zaporiya with her husband.

Maksym, Bita's husband, cannot leave Ukraine yet, so they will need a lot of help at their arrival, and any little bit is more than welcome.
