Family in need

Hello everyone, Christian and I are unfortunately back on here again because we need a little bit more money since we have been here at St. Jude longer than expected and the household bills need to be covered. My husband would go back to work, but with my medical condition I can have a seizure at any moment and don’t want to risk him being gone and I have another seizure while holding Anahi. In order for my husband to stay here with me and my daughter we are asking for $8,000 just to get us through the next 2 to 3 months that we are here. With total bill amount back at home, along with food/gas here, they add up to $3,300 per month. We would not be on here asking for money if he could go home and just work for it but due to the medical condition that I have, I NEED my husband to stay here and watch over me. And for those who are wondering, St. Jude covers medical and living expenses here on campus but not bills back at home. Also, family can not take time off to stay over here for a month with out the risk of losing their job. If you are a local in the downriver area and you cannot donate but can attend a fundraiser, we are having a couple events in the month February and March. February 23rd 1pm-4pm at Bethel Assembly of God Church on 2984 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146, which will include raffles of gift baskets from Mary Kay, Tupperware, Extreme Nutrition Supplements, also an Abby’s Salon gift certificate which includes a wash, cut and blow dry, 2 day passes at Oakwood Gym in Melvindale, a gift certificate for $25 to El Rancho Mexican Restaurant, and many more. A fitness fundraiser on March 9th and 10th at 3D Fit Arena located at 12425 Nixon Ave, Riverview, MI, 48193 which includes a 90 minute hot spinning class on Saturday the 9th at 10:30am and a 90 minute boot camp on Sunday the 10th at 11am (if times change, they will be updated). A cake fundraiser from Blanca Pasteles (on facebook) will be for 3 different cakes that can feed up to 160 people (tickets are $10 each). We are also selling bracelets for $5 that say ‘Anahi Victoria Hernandez’, and possibly selling t-shirts too (which we will have updates on shortly).
