is doing something new, for humanity. It might not look new, not at first glance. After all it is another service project. Service projects happen every day all over the world. Pathfinders Project is different because it is uniting humanists in service of humanity. Service is an important part of humanism, but currently there are very few ways for humanists to do service together. Pathfinders Project is changing that. We are spending a year partnering with local organizations in eight countries working on education, clean water, and human rights. We are searching for the right location to start the permanent Humanist Service Corps, which will fill the current international humanist service hole.
I am a Pathfinder. We are already in the home stretch having already worked in LA, Cambodia, Uganda, Ghana, Haiti, Ecuador, and Colombia. Currently, we are volunteering with two schools that serve the poorest communities in Guatemala City. We are in the home stretch, but we still need money to make this thing work.
So, I am doing one last fundraiser. We have been traveling for over eight months, which means I have eight months worth of photos filling up my hard drive. I have a deal for you. If you donate, I will send you the photo of your choice and depending on how much you donate, I will mat and sign it as well. Every little bit helps and every little bit is appreciated. Thank you for helping us help and thank you for helping make the Humanist Service Corps a reality.
