Hi, I’m Genesis and I’m fundraising to support my son Derek’s next step in his healing journey.

As many of you know, Derek started speaking at age 9 after five months of intensive work using the Melillo Method.

The results have been incredible — he now reads, writes, and shows exceptional skills in math.

His progress has been a gift, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

While there’s still more ahead, especially in developing fluent speech, we’re seeing steady gains.

After over a year of working on reflex integration at home, we now feel ready for a 3-week in-person intensive with Dr. Robert Melillo in New York.

✅ This visit will:

• Boost Derek’s brain integration

• Allow us to refine the home therapy plan

• Give Dr. Melillo the chance to evaluate Derek in person before closing this chapter

We also plan to purchase a Cold Laser device to continue supporting brain stimulation from home — a tool that has shown strong results when used with this method.

Como muchos ya saben, Derek comenzó a hablar a los 9 años tras cinco meses de trabajo intensivo con el Método Melillo.

Los resultados han sido increíbles: ahora lee, escribe y tiene un gran talento para las matemáticas.

Su progreso ha sido un regalo, y estamos profundamente agradecidos con quienes han sido parte de este camino.

Aunque aún queda trabajo por hacer, especialmente en el desarrollo del habla fluida, seguimos viendo avances constantes.

Después de más de un año trabajando desde casa en la integración de reflejos, ahora sentimos que es el momento de hacer un intensivo presencial de 3 semanas con el Dr. Robert Melillo en Nueva York.
