Support Wilrieke with Legal Fees

Part of my passion is to be very active in making our fields of intimacy, tantra, etc safer. You may know my website www.redflagsinworkshops.com or have seen my name as a whistle-blower in several accountability processes, or speaking up publicly against alleged harm.

In 2020 I supported someone who, instead of the promised content for a high-end personal growth course they bought, received something entirely different and unwanted. They asked me to support their case, which I did. This helped them get their money back.

But ever since, the person who created the offer has been on my back. From hundreds of emails calling me very harsh names (psychobitch and more) to public posts containing private photos and numerous lies about me, to contact friends and colleagues of mine. as I didn't see another option as he wouldn't stop, I publicly described what happened, and included screenshots of his articles and emails. This resulted in him accusing me of slander.

Some months ago he got an attorney to force me to take my posts about him offline, as well as to pay him a fee and write a public apology. To me, it felt like the world was upside down. I took the posts offline for my own mental health, but apologizing or paying a fee to someone who has harassed me for 2,5 years and continues to this day in doing so was something I would not do.

I had no other option than to hire an attorney myself. We countered his letter and all attorneys, both his and mine, have urged him to stop contacting me. So far, to no avail.

The impact of this man's actions has been substantial. The stress around this process has been a major reason for the start and duration of my burnout/stress-related chronic illness in 2020-2022 (still recovering) and has caused me sleepless nights and a lot of stress. That resulted in not being able to do the work I wanted to do, and now a €2.500 legal fee invoice.

I haven't shared much about this, as I don't want to give this person the success he wants - hurting me.

Friends have asked me if there is a way in which they can support me carry the legal fee for this process. This is why I have set up this GoFundMe.

It would be amazing to receive support to carry at least part of the legal fees for this process. In case I manage to receive more than 2.500€, I will use the surplus money to create and print more brochures for Red Flags in Workshops. And maybe take me for a day to the sauna to recharge.
