Subject: A Desperate Plea for Help: Saving My Family from the Crisis in Gaza
Dear Friends,
I hope this message reaches you in good health. I am writing to you with a heavy heart, as I find myself in an unimaginable situation that no family should ever have to face. My name is Mohammed Al-Habil, and I am a father, a husband, and the sole provider for my family. We live in Gaza, where, for over 420 days, we have endured an unrelenting cycle of bombings, violence, and overwhelming fear. Every day has been a struggle to survive, and I fear that if we do not find a way out, it may soon be too late for us.
I’m reaching out to you today in the hopes that you will consider helping us. My wife, Lamees, and I have two young children, Haytham (4 years old) and Wateen (1 year old). As you can imagine, it’s heartbreaking to watch our children grow up in such dangerous conditions, where every moment feels uncertain. No family should have to live in fear for their lives, especially innocent children who deserve to live in peace.
I am asking for your support to help evacuate my family to safety in Egypt. Over the years, the cost of evacuation from Gaza has been significant—$5,000 for an adult and $2,500 for a child under 16. I am hopeful that these costs may be lower now, but I am still uncertain and deeply concerned about how we will be able to afford this crucial step toward our survival.
This fundraiser is not just about money; it is about giving my family the chance to live without the constant threat of violence. It is about providing my children with the safety and hope they deserve, and giving my wife and I the opportunity to rebuild our lives away from the devastation. Your support could make all the difference, and we would be eternally grateful for any contribution, no matter how small.
I understand that times are difficult for many, but if you can help, it would mean the world to us. We are not just asking for financial assistance—we are asking for a chance to survive, to be safe, and to find a future where we can live without fear.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness, generosity, and support during this time would offer us more than just safety—it would restore our hope in humanity.
With all our gratitude,
