Hello, we are the Dinsmore family and we are really excited to be taking this next step for our family.

Since getting together, my husband and I have talked about foster-to-adopt and although we have been saving, the original plan wasn't to start for a couple more years when our son was a bit older.

Due to life having it's own plan, the opportunity has come a little sooner than we anticipated and after consideration, it is one we want to move forward with so this child will not have to be "another child of the system" without a proper place to call home.

In January, the child will be born and we plan to bring our new baby home to join our family, but we have run into an unexpected challenge. With an in home study, lawyers, fees and court costs, it's more than we anticipated and of course, with such short time line, we are struggling to come up with the funds. So friends, family and strangers we are asking for your help. Instead of gifts, cards or any other items for this holiday season, all we are asking for is help with the finances, so we can bring this baby into our home and raise it as our own.

Due to circumstances, the birth parents are not able to care for the child. and since I myself grew up in many different foster homes, this is really important for me personally to save atleast one infant from that fate.
