Hi,
Meet Julio. I met him a couple weeks ago as he passed by my house everyday around 5pm pushing his ice cream cart trying to sell ice cream. I quickly admired him, his strength, and determination to work every single day. His loving aura, calling me "mi niña." I gradually got to know his name and his story. His wife recently went back to Ecuador because she is battling kidney failure and undergoing intense dialysis. He said he couldn't go with her because he still had some ice cream in his fridge to sell, to try and help cover bills.
He leaves August 5th to go back to Ecuador to be by his wife's side. I hope as a community we can help Julio and share his story. His dedicated strength and love for his wife is heart warming. Thank you for taking out the time to read this and be safe, xoxo.
