Sigma Chi Derby Days

The Sigma Chi Pi Chapter is raising money to benefit Huntsman Cancer Foundation (Huntsman Cancer Institute): Huntsman Cancer Foundation's sole purpose is to raise funds to support the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) in its work to understand cancer from its beginnings, to use that knowledge in the creation and improvement of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to provide education about cancer risk, prevention, and care. In the global context, HCI has discovered more genes for inherited forms of cancer than any other center in the world. These discoveries cross a broad spectrum of cancers such as breast, ovarian, colon, melanoma, paraganglioma, parathyroid, neurofibromatosis, and more. Whether a patient lives in our region or halfway around the world, HCI research discoveries have helped, benefitting all.
