Help my friend's family

My friend LeeAnn’s dad, Richard (Dick) Loehr was driving home on Monday, December 12th to pick up Becky (his wife) to get groceries. He was one block away from home when a guy fleeing the police, at a very high speed with a stolen truck and trailer, crashed into him. He was thrown around in the vehicle. The police were on the scene immediately as they were chasing the fleeing vehicle. They performed CPR, shocked him with an AED and treated him for a collapsed lung before he got to the Emergency room. Richard has a brain bleed with bruising, collapsed lungs and broken legs. He is on a ventilator for the time being and the family is planning to transition him to comfort-focused care at some point. As you can imagine, this is all very overwhelming for Dick’s family: Becky, LeeAnn and Tom. Dick is a kind, quiet and hard-working father and grandfather who loves his family above all else. Funds would be used to help with expenses while away from work, medical and other upcoming costs. This will be one less worry for them during this awful time.
