Rescue my Mother

Because when we invest in women, they can change the world. With both her very kind heart and a zest for learning, my mother would adapt well to a new environment. She has always been a caregiver. Although she lacked education, she eagerly took care of her children and encouraged and supported them throughout school and university, wanting to ensure a better future for them. When war broke out in her village, she left expecting to return soon, but unfortunately, there was no home to return to.

She was born into a male-dominated community and denied certain personal rights, including obtaining an education. Her life was not easy, suffering injustices from her husband and parents, but she fought to raise her children well. She poured her heart and soul into building a family, but was limited by circumstances beyond her power. She planted love and good values in her children, but the war forced them to live apart, in many countries.

Although she was deserted by others and left to care for her children alone, she never gave up. She made a life working with her children in agriculature, and she was passionate that they complete their studies. It was a somewhat cruel life, but it made her stronger, striving to be productive and to provide for her family.

I admire her so much, my mother, and I was forced to leave her behind at Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. I want so much for her to come and join me in Canada, and to live the rest of her life here in peace and with dignity, and for that I need your help. I live in Vancouver Eastside. Can you help with some guidance on how I can make this happen? My mother deserves a better life, her heart would bloom again and again if given this chance, and I am here to take care of her.
